XPLRSATTIC CASE GUIDE

Find your case. Load it correctly. Build your stack.

Start with the case style you own. Each system below shows the correct way to open, load and close it — plus the exceptions that matter.

Before you load any case: confirm the actual bullion dimensions, keep the case or tray flat, seat each piece completely, and never force a lid, slide, magnet or shell closed.
SYSTEM 01

Display Cases

Clear shell + fitted insert. The insert changes by bullion format; the basic loading process stays the same.

Press steadily at the groove shown above. The snug fit is intentional. Never use a tool.

Lay the fitted insert flat inside.

Make sure the insert is fully seated before adding bullion.

Load the matching bullion.

Every piece should sit flat and naturally inside its recess.

SPECIAL METHOD

Valcambi 50-Bar Display: Keep the 10-Piece Rows Intact

This is the one major exception. The five long channels are designed for five connected 10-piece CombiBar-style rows — not 50 loose bars.

1. Separate the full 10-piece row from the larger sheet, but keep those 10 connected.

2. Lay one intact row flat into each channel.

5 rows × 10 connected 1g bars = 50 bars. If your bars are already separated, use an individual-slot Valcambi display or wallet instead.

SYSTEM 02

Wallets

First identify the closure style. XplrsAttic wallets may use a standard sliding cover, a sliding cover with magnetic catch, or a magnetic clamshell.

Standard Sliding Wallet

  1. Keep the wallet flat or supported.
  2. Slide the cover along its track.
  3. Load the correct bullion fully into the fitted slots.
  4. Make sure nothing rises into the lid path.
  5. Slide closed slowly. If it catches, stop and reseat the bullion.

STYLE B

Sliding Wallet + Magnetic Catch

Example: 32-Slot Valcambi-Style 1g Wallet

  1. Slide the cover along the track — do not lift it like a hinge.
  2. Load the correct bullion and keep all pieces below the lid path.
  3. Guide the cover to the end of the track.
  4. Let the magnetic catch engage naturally.
  5. Do not force the magnetic close if anything is sitting high.

STYLE C

Clamshell + Magnets

Clamshell magnetic wallets open into two halves instead of using a sliding lid. Use the fitted half as the base, load the compatible bullion, and bring both halves together evenly so the magnets align.

  • Open from the designated edge; do not twist the shell.
  • Keep the fitted half flat while loading.
  • Check that no bullion sits above the insert.
  • Bring the halves together evenly and let the magnets close the case.
  • If the magnets do not meet cleanly, reopen and check the fit.

Deep-slot wallets: some designs intentionally stack multiple pieces in one opening. Slot count and total capacity may be different. Only stack when the product specifically states a stacked capacity.
SYSTEM 03

Trunk Tray Systems

High-capacity outer cases with removable fitted trays for bulk storage, sorting and display.

How to use the trunk system

  1. Place the outer trunk flat and open it fully.
  2. Remove one tray at a time by its edge.
  3. Load bullion into the tray made for that exact format.
  4. Keep every piece seated below the tray surface.
  5. Return the tray level and restack evenly.
  6. Close the outer trunk only after the tray stack is aligned.
MODULAR STORAGE

Mix & Match Compatible Trays

If tray styles share the same outer footprint, you can combine different fitted trays inside one trunk — for example:

Valcambi + Geiger + 15mm Rounds

Mix the trays, not the slot fit. Every bullion piece still belongs in the tray designed for its actual dimensions.

QUICK GUIDE

Troubleshooting & Final Check

Use this checklist for display cases, wallets and trunk tray systems.

Hard to open?

Press steadily at the intended groove, slide path or opening edge while the case is supported on a flat surface. A snug fit can be intentional. Never use a tool to pry the case open.

Bar or round doesn't fit well?

Stop and verify the dimensions. For separated CombiBar-style pieces, rotating the piece 180° can help when a break edge is slightly uneven.

Lid, slide or magnets won't sit evenly?

Reopen the case and make sure the insert, tray and bullion all lie flat. Remove any piece stacked beyond the product's stated capacity.

Final check

☐ Correct base / fitted side is down

☐ Insert or tray is fully seated

☐ All bullion lies flat

☐ Nothing is forced into a slot

☐ Lid, slide or magnets align cleanly

☐ Case is fully closed
